Dr. Savelli really is a knowledgeable endodontist. He easily evaluates the problem using his wealth of experience and training and gives you the most sensible solution. I needed a root canal and had an infection in that area of some sort. I was so nervous about being sent to a specialist and seeing someone who was not my regular dentist. Dr. Savelli was nothing short of amazing. He explained every step, was honest as to what may or may not work, was compassionate, accommodating, so skilled, focused , and I literally had no pain even though I was in the chair about 90 minutes. His assistant was great and his office staff very professional and everything was squeaky clean. I would recommend, and return to him, without hesitation. Dr Savelli and his staff were warm and welcoming. He took the time to explain my options and was truthful and let me know that root canal treatment may not work out for me. His honesty was appreciated and he made sure to arrange follow up care with a surgeon and provided me with my CT results. This is the place to go if you need an endodontist. I would highly recommend Dr. Juan Savelli if you need to go to an expert in Endo work. I previously went to him for root canal in 2018 and  again  in July 2026. He is very professional,  honest and does excellent work. Trust me, l know because l have family who are dentists in NY.  I felt that he was also very caring and considerate. I was referred to Dr. Savelli for a root canal procedure. I can't say enough about the  wonderful experience I had with Dr. Savelli and his staff. Throughout my entire procedure Dr. Savelli and his assistants made sure that I was comfortable and that I felt OK. The procedure was a complete success and I was so comfortable and relaxed during it that I closed my eyes and nearly dozed off a few times. Who dozes off during a root canal!
